Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, known for her critically acclaimed performances of charming and innocent characters. Adams is born in Italy while her father served as a soldier in the U.S. military and she was raised living in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. Around the middle of the 1990s, she began dance and performing professionally through Colorado's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Following her move to Minnesota in the mid-1990s, she participated in a mock-documentary film on beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998).
