Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actor for a long time. She is well-known for her roles in film and television. The popularity of her is shared by the world of Canadian as well as American TV. Emily was first interested in acting when she watched her sibling Katie working on a film. When she realized her love for the acting world she enrolled herself in acting classes and started auditioning. She began with some commercials and was soon the role of a child actor on the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. The WB program Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show.
